Here are 7 reasons that make the MX-10A multi-axis torsion spring machine one of the most popular machines in Europe! 💡 15 independent servo-axes control this versatile machine which is capable of producing torsion springs, extension springs, compression springs with legs and wire forms with complex shapes. 💡The body slide, together with the diameter axis, controls the body tools three-dimensionally. 💡The servo swing mechanism numerically controls the lateral positions of all slides and drives 8 servo slides mounted at 45° angles. Therefore, fine adjustment of the initial tension of the spring body or the offset position of the spinner is simple. 💡The rotary wire feed and rotary wire guide mechanisms rotate the wire material and wire guide which makes complex forming possible without having to change the positions of the slides. 💡All tool slides, except the body slides, are driven by an independent servo motor via crank mechanism, resulting in high-speed production. 💡The type of the drive system for all the slides can be altered to the rack & pinion mechanism (optional), which also drives the spinner and the pitch tool at constant speed. 💡Camera systems and laser sensors can be fitted as an option for accurate and reliable control. Hello from South Africa! Dean, the General Manager at Itaya Europe Limited, has arrived in South Africa to support our valued customer, Marvel Springs Inc., with the commissioning and training of the latest addition to their Itaya collection. “Tony”, their MX-20B, is a multi-axis torsion spring machine that is capable of producing torsion springs, extension springs, compression springs with legs and wire forms with complex shapes. Taro Itaya, the CEO of The Itaya Engineering Ltd, visited our trusted partner UMAC, in Ireland, to celebrate the exciting developments on the Itaya coiling machines, especially the CX-8B and CX-2A. The CX-8B on the left is coiling PTFE pre-coated wire, whereas the CX-2A on the right side is coiling gold clad Tantalum (AUTA). The CX-2A is also capable of coiling Tungsten, Platinum and Palladium. Special thanks to Ciaran Hood and Jimmy Moore at UMAC SYSTEMS for all their hard work and for an interesting and valuable visit.
