Conscia achieves record-high revenue and earnings   As part of the Conscia group, ITGL is happy to announce that the group’s annual report has been released, with Conscia achieving record-high revenue and earnings in the 2023/24 financial year, driven by particularly high growth in cyber security and services business.   “We are pleased with our sustained, profitable growth, driven largely by robust sales and commercial initiatives across the group. Last year, we experienced exceptional top-line growth, in part due to the normalisation of supply chain challenges following the Covid pandemic. Not only have we retained this business, but we’ve also enhanced margins across the board – a highly satisfying achievement,” says Group CEO Erik Bertman, Conscia.   Conscia has almost doubled its revenue and earnings over the last five years, with both revenue and earnings showing an average annual growth of 19%. In the financial year 2023/24, group revenue was EUR 612m (DKK 4,563m). The fastest growing segment was Services, with managed services increasing by 21%. Earnings grew 17% to EUR 68m (DKK 510m).   See more in our announcement on our website, here: https://lnkd.in/e4TZhXXR.

It's been a busy and productive two days at the Jisc Security Conference, with a wealth of resources on offer for delegates. Jan Bervar's session yesterday on XDR/MDR provided vital information on identifying the right partner for your organisation, while today's talk with Ben Simpson and Peter Jones focused on emerging security trends, the importance of moving to modern security architecture, and optimising your existing toolsets to take the first steps on your zero-trust journey. Plenty of breakout sessions also helped drive the conversations around MDR, zero trust, quantum computing, and particularly our new Microsoft maturity assessment, which was a key conversation point among attendees. Jan Bervar, Ben Simpson and Peter Jones were joined by Laura Powell, Simon Driscoll, and Andy Le Grice on the ITGL stand, ready to dive into these topics in detail with anyone that stopped by. We'd also like to congratulate the winners of the Digital Defence arcade game we ran at the stand - Dom Dixon, Mark Rosevear, and Aaron Hayward managed to top the leaderboards, and pick up a few prizes in the process! The game proved to be a big draw throughout both days - as well as an excellent chance to decompress and network at the same time. For anyone that was unable to attend, or who missed us at the event, you can grab a pack of digital assets focusing on the above topics by filling out a form on our website, here: https://lnkd.in/efZYua5x. You can also get in touch with our expert team to discuss anything relating to your organisation and its security needs by emailing security@itgl.com.

We’ve had a brilliant first day at the Jisc security conference. Our team have been demonstrating how organisations can make the most of their current investments in security and then leverage specialist resources, such as MDR, to improve their response to threats. These themes will be brought to the main stage tomorrow as Peter Jones and Ben Simpson will host a dedicated break out session. This is not to be missed. Day 2 also gives you another opportunity to top our leaderboard and earn a prize. Think you have what it takes to beat the leaders of day 1?

Episode 3 of In the Thick of IT Podcast hosts experts Peter Jones and Ben Simpson who talk about how Zero Trust is becoming a core pillar of cyber security for many organisations – and with good reason. They review how its adoption in the public sector has helped protect critical systems and data, as well as how it can help insulate organisations from risks such as those posed by third-party suppliers and endpoint devices. They also take a high-level view of how to get started with Zero Trust, before ending on the potential user impacts that implementation can have, and how to mitigate any suboptimal user experiences. 🎧 Find out more about the series, and listen to the second episode, here: https://lnkd.in/eFwd5gfm #ZeroTrust #Cyber #CyberSecurity

Episode 2 of In the Thick of IT Podcast hosts experts Simon Driscoll and Jan Bervar who talk through how Managed Detection & Response can take a proactive approach to reducing your cyber risk. With organisations themselves only identifying roughly one in three breaches, can MDR effectively plug this detection hole? Our security experts will cover exactly how MDR is placed to solve these challenges, and provide advice on how it can support an organisation’s compliance obligations. 🎧 Find out more about the series, and listen to the second episode, here: https://lnkd.in/eFwd5gfm
