Proud to be building a Faster Britain, working with our partners to deliver full fibre services where there is demand

About us

ITS designs, builds and operates gigabit capable full fibre networks. We are experts in providing connectivity solutions. We support UK channel partners, helping them win in the market through commercial innovation and our Faster Britain full fibre roll out. The business world is evolving and technology is at the heart of this evolution The driving force is gigabit capable, full fibre connectivity. Whether it’s connecting to servers, accessing cloud-based apps or running IP-based services, superior connectivity is a common denominator amongst successful businesses, no matter their size. Powered by ITS, Faster Britain is an ultrafast, digital infrastructure across the UK. Ultrafast full fibre connectivity allows businesses to scale and communicate in uniquely effective ways. As copper-based services become increasingly obsolete, it is becoming less a luxury and more a necessity. Indeed, it is now a key hygiene factor for the modern business and for citizens that live and consume services online. However, a problem persists. This connectivity isn’t readily available to everyone and digging up roads and laying down fibre is beyond the capability of many technology providers. It’s a problem Faster Britain is meeting head on.

Our Volunteer Days are a way for our people to give back to their communities and a charity that means something to them At a time of year when many people are struggling, Perry's Pantry Food Bank and many other organisations like them are busier than ever. When doing your food shop this weekend, do think of donating to food banks and drop off points if you can. Something so small can mean so much. Well done team SHEQ 💜

Head of SHEQ at ITS Technology Group

This week, the ITS SHEQ Team took a volunteer day to support Perry’s Pantry Food Bank in Manchester, and it was a fantastic experience to volunteer on Merseybank estate, which is where I grew up. Spending time serving customers, organising donations, carrying out leaflet drops and seeing the work the food bank does daily to help people within a community that is close to my heart was brilliant. Food banks like this play a vital role in supporting communities facing food insecurity, and it’s a reminder of how much need exists right on our doorstep. Volunteering with the SHEQ Team reminded me of the power of community and the importance of stepping up to help where we can. A huge thank you to the amazing lyinka who makes a real difference every day. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering or donating to a cause like this, then please look at the details in the photo attached to this post and get involved, Perry’s Pantry need help through volunteering or donations! Incredible that 2024 is almost behind us - what a year! Special thanks to Matt Robinson, who chaired our UKREiFF roundtable back in May. Fantastic organisation to partner with. The blog below is a great recap to the year - well worth a read! #UrbanRegeneration #FullFibre #DigitalInfrastructure

Probably the last train ride of the year (well there’s the return journey later!) down to London. I’ve enjoyed/endured many train journeys this year but across techUK we have had sessions in/ people attending with in / or sessions focused on Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Belfast, Wales, Brighton, Jersey to mention a few…and that’s without mentioning the international connections. If you want to check a quick round up of what’s happened in 2024, you can see that here: https://lnkd.in/ewbi4Dbi A massive thank you to the members, stakeholders and partners across the UK who I’ve met, worked with, spoken with, who’d fed into our N&R work but also the wider work. There’s too many to count but a special thanks to all those members on the Nations & Regions Council, who keep us true to purpose, ask why it matters, what’s the value and always how they can get involved. Thanks on a N&R level to a few people in techUK but I could name them all, however a shout out to the multi-award nominated Ileana Lupsa who’s time on trains rivals my own, Alison Young and Ed Bevan who have to put up with my “I have an idea” or “…so I was thinking” moments, I’m delighted to have Stephanie Barr on the team and who’s already got N&R activity in motion, thanks also to Mr “Meet the Innovators” Rory Daniels who’s always considering the wider UK tech landscape, Tania Teixeira, Margherita Certo, & Alex Smith who’s calm heads and support are growing our N&R work and message, Mia Haffety and Archie Breare who’ve always kept asking the question “how does this look or work beyond the M25” (we can’t change the UK if we don’t think beyond London), Clara H who’s put in some miles and always has a new regional contact, Luisa Cardani who’s probably spent more time considering N&R than she thought at the start of 2024, and Matthew Evans for encouraging the N&R work from the get go and who’s kept signing off the travel expenses as we grow our members, engagement and partnerships across the UK 🇬🇧 If you have a new, good or fresh idea for what techUK should be doing/considering/pushing for/supporting in 2025 then get in touch. And I promise I will update my techUK profile picture in 2025. I’m not sure that photo passes as a reasonable likeness any longer 😬🤦♂️😅

A round up of International Men's Day at ITS 💜   We were delighted to welcome Jay from TalkHub to our Daresbury office on Tuesday. Jay shared his inspiring insights into men’s mental health, with his talk live-streamed via Teams for colleagues joining from our London office or working remotely.   TalkHub, a local Warrington charity, champions men’s mental health through exercise and fitness. A big thank you to Jay for his inspiring session. What a fantastic cause that truly resonated with many of our people.   To build on this, we hosted a team walk around our business park, highlighting the importance of stepping outside, connecting with nature, and spending time with colleagues and friends.   To support TalkHub’s incredible work across the North West, we also held a bake sale to raise funds for their mission 💜 #IMD2024 #InternationalMensDay
