In 2024, our news coverage guided millions through the General Election, while Mr Bates vs. The Post Office sparked over 170 petitions and 400,000 signatures - proof of TV's ability to inspire action and drive change. ITV has proudly announced their Head First Award winner, WWF-UK, who's campaign titled 'A Prescription for Nature’ encourages the nation to get their “daily dose” of nature. This award is an advertising initiative that shines a spotlight on mental health & wellbeing and builds on our long-standing Britain Get Talking initiative. The World Wide Fund for Nature’s (WWF) new ad campaign, which was funded by the £1m airtime prize and features ITV This Morning’s Dr Sara Kayat, aired on ITV1 and highlights how connecting with nature, no matter the circumstances or the weather, can positively impact our mental health. The launch of Big Brother attracted 1.4m viewers across all devices, up on the launch on ITV2 last year by +0.4m viewers 👏 This makes it ITV2's biggest audience of the year outside of Love Island 🌴 The last series launched with 3.6m across ITV1 and ITV2.
