Last week we hosted a great interactive session for SME leaders in Stockport - How to maintain your culture in tough times. In this workshop, we looked recruitment and onboarding - developing and checking in with employees regularly and how important it is to understand what your people truly believe your culture is - and providing a platform to share their true feeling. Working in groups, we worked how best (bearing in mind how important culture is) to handle challenges that com up in organisations. Using a live example of a company restructure, we got down to brass tacks to define best practices, based on the learnings of culture from the workshop and the way people see things - perfection versus reality.
