    Another story of an assistant being abused. I know this was in the 80s and 90s but that should just show us how little has changed in many places of power. I just posted about Diddy and claims of abuse regarding his former assistant. And then this Al Fayed story was the first to greet me this morning. I heard his former personal assistant describe how she had to beat and kick him to keep him out of her bed. I’d love to hear from men in power who are making sure their leadership and management teams are aware of these vulnerabilities and making sure this does not happen under their watch. #personalassistant #metoo #believeher #ceo #executivesupport https://lnkd.in/gwPcjeWM

    I was so angry last week and without much of an outlet I took to my keyboard and posted this in The Officials HQ community. TW: SA - - - I just read about the reported claims about how Diddy treated women (I’ve already been following this story), and most notable for this forum, how he treated his former assistant. Whom he reportedly SAed with other men and then purposely left her stranded in the UK while he flew back to the US with her passport. I am so angry. I was shaking as I heard this news reported because I have sadly heard similar stories from some of my mentees. And their bosses weren’t even celebrities or millionaires. Just people in a power position. The story of Weinstein’s is also horrendous and in that story the assistants tried to protect each other, warning new assistants to never be alone with him. They even were a part of bringing him down in the end. Idk how to wrap this post up other than to say I’m fucking mad. I’m so fucking mad and sick of this behavior. Watch out for women and people in vulnerable positions. Take care of each other. There is strength in numbers. #believeher #executiveassistant #abuse #abuseofpower #ceo
