We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Fabricator / welder in or around the Congleton, Chesire area to join our expanding team of production technicians. This is a full-time on-site role. You must have experience with fabrication and TIG / MIG welding and take exceptional pride in your work. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for executing fabrication of various components in coordination with the team and ensuring that components and assemblies are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to reading and interpreting technical diagrams, cutting, grinding and trimming raw materials, welding, and fabricating finished products. Required Skills: *Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and principles in a manufacturing environment *Proven experience in welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication procedures *Proficient in the use of tools such as power saws, drills, grinders, and clamps *Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics *Flexible and adaptable to new requirements and changes in the environment *Excellent attention to detail, able to work accurately and calmly under pressure with tight deadlines *Ability to work independently as well as part of a team *Demonstrate the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment *Physical agility and ability to operate in confined spaces. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Good attendance and timekeeping -Experience of small bore pipe welding / Jig work and stainless steel fabrication would be advantageous Here at JP Exhausts, we offer; >A good rate of salary, depending on experience >40 working hours per week (Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 4.30 / Fri - 7.30 – 3.00) >Paid holiday - 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday >Full training (on-the-job) >Staff Parking >Staff uniform >Long term job security To apply, please send your CV and details 📧 to Sales@jpexhausts.co.uk or phone us directly 📞 on 01625 619916 for more information
