Last night Circle Health Group were honoured to be presented with the prestigious Order of St Panteleimon Award by His Eminence Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, the Eparchial Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family in London.
The event took place at UCL and brought together organisation’s such as the British Red Cross and Ukrainian Medical Charity that worked alongside our teams and hospitals to provide desperately needed medical aid to Ukraine.
St Panteleimon is the patron saint of physicians and midwives and the award is recognised as the highest honour for Ukrainian medical professionals. This is the first time that a British organisation has been a recipient of the award.
In attendance to receive the medal, were Paolo Pieri, Dr Massoud Fouladi and members of our procurement team who worked tirelessly to collect, organise and load hundreds of pallets to six teaching hospitals in Ukraine.
Our work to support the medical community in Ukraine would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our suppliers. Also in attendance were representatives from Toffeln and JUNE MEDICAL who were key partners throughout.
Paolo Pieri, CEO of Circle Health Group, said:
“It is an honour for Circle Health Group to receive this national award for our work to support vulnerable patients and hospitals. My thanks to the Order of St Panteleimon, our hospital, procurement team, Dr Massoud Fouladi and our suppliers for their support getting emergency aid to where it was needed most.”
