    We all know that we can turn to Kallo for plant-based or organic lunch, snack and dinner options, but what about breakfast? This month Kallo's brand new range of granolas hit shelves in Tesco! And you can now find the deliciously crunchy granolas in Waitrose too.     Last month, Alexandra Moore, Lily Owen and Cynthia A. from our team, attended a dedicated Diversity & Inclusion event held by GroceryAid. Attended by 1600 grocery industry members, the event brought everyone together to learn and be inspired to drive positive change for D&I in the grocery industry through keynote speakers, panel discussions, short talks and networking sessions. 👐🏼 The day was presented by Clive Myrie with highly engaging keynote speakers including Tarsila Calvo and Mary Portas OBE. Fostering a strong sense of belonging and making sure everyone feels included and considered is a core part of our culture at Ecotone.     Is Kallø fit for the Houses of Parliament? We certainly think so! 🏙️🌱 This week, the Kallø team were invited to attend The Food and Drink Federation's #InnovationForHealthierDiets parliamentary tasting event. The aim was to showcase the positive steps food manufacturers are taking to support healthier diets, alongside creating engaging conversations among MPs and stakeholders. For Kallø, a pioneer in snacks and the UK’s No.1 organic stock brand, it was a chance to showcase our growing product portfolio championing alternative ingredients, as part of an onward innovation journey. It was also a chance to spotlight Veggie Cakes and Veggie Thins - both of which are gluten free and made from pulses rather than grain cereals, which boast greater nutritional benefits as well as a natural way to add dietary fibre and protein.     It’s no secret that this year has been a big one for our natural, fair and delicious tea brand, Clipper Teas. 🌱 It was kicked off with a £1M multi-channel ad campaign. Here, the story of organic & Fairtrade tea was broadcast to millions. Then, the team took to Glastonbury Festival to continue spreading the message on a glbal stage. And more recently, Clipper has launched a new range of natural organic infusions. The aim all along is to tap into human emotion through clever storytelling and humour. The result?     #WorldFoodDay 🌾 The world is reliant on just nine plant species: corn, rice, soybeans, wheat, potatoes, palm oil, cane sugar, beet sugar and cassava. This means corn, soybeans, rice, potatoes, wheat, palm oil, cane sugar, beet sugar, and cassava… collectively provide two-thirds of what we eat! As a result, our food system is causing reduction in crop and plant biodiversity. This makes the food supply chain vulnerable to disruptions such as pest and disease outbreaks and climate change. It also reduces nutrition and taste. 💚 At Ecotone we believe in mixing things up, so we’ve introduced more plant species and ingredients to our recipes. And today: 66% of our recipes use alternative ingredients! This not only provides consumers with more nutritious food options but also boosts biodiversity. 🍽 #FoodForBiodiversity
