KENNELPAK ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGES TO CONTINUE STRATEGIC GROWTH Following a record breaking year for sales and profits and the successful sale of our retail business, Pets & Friends, we are delighted to announce a number of strategic leadership changes to drive our next phase of growth, including a relocation to new premises in Nottinghamshire next year. From 1st January 2025, our Chief Executive Officer for over three years, Claire Bayliss. transitions into the role of Executive Chair of the Board, Nigel Wright is promoted to Managing Director and Ian Dowell steps into the role of Sales & Marketing Director. Here’s what Claire had to say: “Serving as Kennelpak’s CEO has been an honour and a privilege. Looking back, I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved during such a transformative time for the company which is testament to the dedication, hard work, and talent of our exceptional colleagues and partners. My transition into the role of Executive Chair reflects both my deep commitment to our mission and our focus on achieving the ambitious strategic goals we've set for the future. This transition is part of our planned evolution to ensure Kennelpak is well positioned for its next 50 years. With Nigel at the helm as Managing Director, I am confident that we will execute on our plans and continue delivering exceptional value to our customers, partners, and investor, Endless LLP. We're thrilled to share that as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping pets healthy and happy, this month we have donated over 15 tonnes of cat litter to local pet charities, including North Notts Cat Rescue, Purrs Cat Rescue in Walsall, and Feline Friends Cat Rescue. 😺 With over 3,000 bags (the equivalent to a small herd of African Elephants!) collected from our support centre in Stapleford throughout August, we're proud to contribute to the well-being of these pets as they wait to find their forever homes and support the vital work that these rescue centres do every day for cats in need.

KENNELPAK SELLS PETS & FRIENDS TO PSR TRADING LTD Kennelpak has announced the sale of its retail business, Pets & Friends, to family-owned PSR Trading Ltd (PSR), owner of retail chain Just for Pets. This strategic move allows Kennelpak to accelerate the growth of its Wholesale & Distribution division. The sale includes Pets & Friends’ 19 stores and 17 grooming salons, noted for its exceptional customer service and pet nutrition expertise, as well as its thriving online business and subscription service. Pets & Friends will continue under its existing trading name and will operate alongside Just for Pets, as PSR looks to leverage synergies between the two brands to drive investment and innovation within the independent pet trade sector. Here’s what Kennelpak Chief Executive, Claire Bayliss had to say about the sale: “Under our management, Pets & Friends has undergone a significant transformation with investment at every level, evolving from a Midlands-based retailer to a much-loved multichannel pet specialist brand with national reach. Our Wholesale & Distribution division has been the cornerstone of Kennelpak’s heritage for the past 50 years. Our aim is to strengthen its position as the trusted pet specialist, with an even greater emphasis on supporting our distributor partners’ plans for growth and continuing to deliver exceptional service for our customers.
