At last week's "What is an Investment Strategy?" breakfast workshop in partnership with award-winning wealth managers Killik & Co. our attendees connected with like-minded women investors and gained valuable insights into planning their investment strategies. Led by Killik & Co investment experts Rachel Winter and Lucy Smith - Chartered MCSI, the session covered key investment terms, the difference between shares and bonds, along with portfolio case studies. Whilst it was freezing cold and frosty outside today ❄️, our team of visiting corporate volunteers were keeping warm, working hard inside our warehouse. Thanks to Emma, James, Kieran, Louis, Mahala, Nina, and Nyle, from Killik & Co, 240 pairs of new school shoes were unpacked and stacked by size on our School Shoes Fund shelves ready to set off nationwide across the U.K. 🇬🇧, and 1,241 pairs of Sal’s Shoes were itemised and packed as part of a larger humanitarian aid consignment headed to Lebanon 🇱🇧 thanks to Project Espwa, to find their feet amongst children affected by ongoing conflicts in the Middle East region 👣 One day, 7 volunteers, and a positive impact about to be made on the lives of just under 1,500 children 🫶🏽
