Back-to-back winners of the very highly regarded Northampton Business Excellence Awards 🏆 Last year we were triumphant in the ‘Accountancy firm of the year’ award, so this year we turned our attention to the ‘Employer of the year’ award to try and diversify our trophy cabinet. In a fiercely competitively category, we entered the award a little unsure how we would fair. Bigger companies, different industries, and deeper pockets - could it be the underdog story we all love to hear?! At KRW Accountants, we pride ourselves on creating a company that puts our employees first. Their physical, mental, and financial well-being at the forefront of all our decision making and we offer a well-being package that is unrivalled, and forever developing. All the energy that goes into the team, felt somewhat recognised last night. Ultimately though, the team deserve it. They deserve to be spoilt, they deserve to be looked after. A huge congratulations to our wonderful Associate Director, Mollie Marshall, on 10 years at KRW! ✨ Mollie joined us straight from sixth form and has grown from strength to strength both personally and professionally over the last decade (!!) To celebrate her 10 years of service, we've given her the month of September off where she'll be settling into her new home and travelling around America 🛫 Whilst we can't wait to have her back in October, we hope she has the most amazing, well deserved break!

🏃🏻 Week 2 of #KRWActiveAugust 🏃🏻 👟 Rachael Devoil, Lauren Jones, Mollie Marshall & Eliza Marshall participated in the Milton Keynes Park Run, smashing 5K out of the park (ha)! 🏄🏼♀️ Some of the team attended Aqua Parcs Milton Keynes for an hours fun on the inflatable water park. 5,000 extra points goes to Lewis Bethell for attempting several backflips and making everyone else look suitably older & less flexible… 🎾 Some teams have been hiring out the new tennis courts at Pury Hill Ltd (available for members of the business park) to get in the steps & activity levels. 🏅 David White & Adrienne White go head to head in a friendly battle to win the most amount of steps racking up 140k and 130k points in one week…. Game on 🍿 🏃🏻♀️ An early morning start on our wonderful business park for our own park run & walk. Some improving their laps, incredible performance 🤝 ✨ Bring on the penultimate week ✨

🏃🏽♀️➡️Week One of KRW Active August 2024🏃🏽 🥇🥈🥉 The aim of this month is to move as much as possible. We are having an in-house competition for maximum steps across the month. 🏊♀️🏸🏹 We'll be participating in various activities, with bonus step points available. Each week, we’re also using an hour of work time to get out of the office & exercise. So far, we've enjoyed gym sessions, wild swims, badminton, and archery practice! 👟👟👟 We kicked the month off with KRW Park Run, where we ran, jogged, and walked around the business park, aiming for as many laps as possible in an hour. Stay tuned to see if we can beat our numbers in Park Run #2! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 Some of the ladies in the KRW Team also participated in the Towcester Park Run, with three team members taking it on for the very first time. What a great feeling at the finish line! Next up is Willen Lake Park Run this weekend. 🥑🍳🍇 Yesterday, we welcomed Lucy Jones ANutr from Lutrition for an engaging talk on how to energise and fuel our bodies. We left with fantastic tips and a renewed focus on nutrition. 🩶🩶🩶 Shout out to the Grey Team Annette Smyth, Rachael Devoil & Adrienne White who yesterday walked an impressive 10.2 miles from the office to New Bradwell, finishing with a well-deserved 🍻 🎾🧘🏽♀️🏌🏼♂️ Bring on Week 2! 🏌🏼♂️🧘🏽♀️🎾
