I was fortunate enough to speak with Jonathan Prynn from The London Standard recently. We discussed the significant shifts that we’re seeing in the way that our members socialise together, and how LABS is adapting our event programming to meet a new demand for alcohol-free styled events as well as wellness and wellbeing focused activities. In December LABS held our very first alcohol-free Christmas party with the support of the great team from Club Soda – I am pleased to report that it completely sold out. Following that event, and moving into dry January, we had a packed-out room for an evening on gut health and sleep optimisation benefits of mushrooms with the team from Grass & Co. Such events compliment our regular breakfast, drinks, social and fitness classes which we host regularly for all our members to enjoy. The demand from our members is clearly there, so in 2025 we're working hard to ensure all our events are fun, engaging, and a little bit different, but give our members the opportunity to join us at events that focus fully on their wellbeing. We continually strive to be innovative with our events programming and look forward to 2025 having a full range of activities and social events to suit. While my drawing skills could certainly do with some work, it was a real treat to see these three up close, and learn more about them as we sketched away.
