Right, we think enough time has passed to talk about this! Did anyone watch Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl over the holidays? We've always had a soft spot for the series as the creators are based in Lancashire and always pay a homage to the county in some way...but the barge that Feathers McGraw tries to escape in is called the Accrington Queen. If you didn't know already - we're based in Accrington! Out of all towns in Lancashire, we were thrilled to see our home town be referenced 😊 That's all for today's post. Take a trip down memory lane with us – carbon fibre fishing rods from North Western Blanks. They were very popular in the 1980s and had an excellent reputation, particularly amongst carp and pike fishers, and are still remembered fondly on various fishing sites and groups.
