Lost, frustrated and fearful of never being able to get off the slippery slope. Vik knew his health was in decline, it was obvious for him to see but also more apparent in how he felt. Walking up a couple of flights of stairs and feeling breathless for minutes after, simple daily tasks feeling taxing and no sign of it improving on it’s own. Vik was stuck in a vicious cycle of drinking too much, experiencing poor sleep leading to tiredness and of course, poor eating habits. Despite working with seemingly high end personal trainers over the years, Vik could never find something that he felt he could stick to without serious amounts of will power and sacrifice. The workouts felt punishing and the diets weren’t sustainable. He’d drop a few KG only to put it all back on again weeks later. He’d question, is this really as good as it gets?.. Since becoming a father Vik knew he HAD to get off of the trajectory he was on, he took what felt like one last roll of the dice and contacted Lucas Sheehan. The rest, as they say, is history

Not an ‘after’ picture, just a moment in time for Dean’s journey. We spent around 6 weeks in a prep phase for us to then push calories in the pursuit of lean muscle and strength gains. That pursuit is now going to continue for, let’s say the next 20 years Dean is a business owner, working every hour god sends, has a family to take care of and was starting this journey without knowing if he’d be able to complete even one workout due to a chronic spinal pain. We took our time (as ever!) to systematically progress through exercises and workouts and we built the confidence in Dean’s structure. We had to relearn some exercise experiences and we rebuilt how he thought about and understood food. It’s a real privilege to have someone super receptive and trusting in following what I wanted him to do (and continue to do). I’m really happy with where he is at with his training currently, his strength has increased 10 fold, and I’m excited to see what the next 6 months or so brings. I’ll say it again for the people in the back.. Set people up for the next 30 years not just the next 30 days. The methods aren’t slower to get results, but they will have more staying power. It’s a non-negotiable for me.
Wearing tailor made suits to off the rack classes?
