Yesterday, LeafyColl Ltd had the opportunity to engage in an inspiring event focused on the future of the UK bio-based sector. With a mission to generate £204 billion annually through world-leading sustainable chemicals and materials, the event underscored the critical need for innovative bio-based solutions. As the UK moves toward its Net Zero by 2050 goal, transitioning away from fossil-based resources is essential. The chemical industry contributes to about 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and this event highlighted key strategies for overcoming these challenges.
