Meet Ali, our Garment Technology and Quality Control Manager! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ali first joined the business 27 years ago when she started an enterprise program while studying at university. After completing her degree, she was taken on full time and, after working in most areas of the business, became responsible for setting up the QC Department. Day to day Ali creates the manufacturing packs which are used to get our garments produced in our offshore factories. She also manages the QC department. Ali says “I enjoy being part of a great team and we pride ourselves on ensuring the garments are of the highest quality. The best part has been watching the company grow from the small manufacturing unit it was to see so much 'Leo' in everyday life.”. Men’s Mental Health Month 2024 -------------------------------------- People working in construction (and similar industries) are particularly vulnerable to mental health issues. This is due to stress from high production pressures, dangerous work, poor cultural norms and mental health stigma, chronic bodily pain, lack of social support, and much more. Unfortunately, leading to a high rate of mental health issues and suicide in the industry. Start the conversation with employees, offer support and break the stigma. One conversation can make a big difference to someone who is struggling with their mental health. See below a list of organisations you can contact for support. Meet the lovely Nicole, our Customer support/Office Administrator! Nicole plays a big part in keeping our customers happy, something Leo Workwear are renowned for. She's one of the happy voices you'll hear when you call Leo or receive a helpful email addressing your enquiry or return. She is also an incredible baker, regularly supplying the team with delicious cakes! Nicole says “What I love most about my job is working with a great bunch of people every day! I also really love the food days in the office because we all share yummy food”.
