🚗 CEO Scott Marshall Visits FIG Recycling Ltd ♻️ Yesterday, our CEO, Scott Marshall, visited Fig Recycling to see their impressive operation in action. With Liberty’s recent BCorp certification, we’re on a continued mission to reduce carbon emissions and support sustainable practices. Fig Recycling takes old plastic products, breaks them down, and grinds them into pellets, which are then remade into new products—helping close the loop in recycling. ♻️ We also got a look at the impressive stock levels at Fig’s sugarcane paper warehouse. As part of Liberty’s janitorial offering, their sugarcane paper breaks down in under 10 seconds, preventing blockages and promoting sustainability. A Night to Remember at Claridge’s We were honoured to attend a spectacular gala dinner at Claridge’s Hotel on Friday night, kindly invited by our friends at Cleanology. The evening was in support of the incredible team at The Hygiene Bank, a charity tirelessly working to combat hygiene poverty affecting over 4 million people in the UK. The event featured heartfelt speeches by Lizzy Hall MBE, founder of The Hygiene Bank, and Ruth Brock, CEO, shedding light on the profound impact hygiene poverty has on lives. Thanks to the phenomenal efforts of Rahul Moodgal, the evening raised an astonishing £300k for this vital cause. This week, two of our Directors, Glenn Marshall and Stephen Bourdet, had the immense honour of being admitted as Freemen into the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners. Glenn and Stephen are deeply passionate about the cleaning and environmental services industry and are eager to contribute to the Livery through knowledge sharing, promoting environmental best practices, supporting charitable initiatives, and raising awareness about the importance of their field. Both Directors were incredibly proud to be admitted and are now thrilled to collaborate with their peers to help shape and advance the industry they are so dedicated to supporting.
