It’s been full speed ahead as we approach the end of the year! 💨 Typically a time of reflection, today’s reflection is about how vast the improvements in people’s first aid and pre-hospital care skills are, when they commit to training more frequently than the typical 3 year cycle. It’s awesome to see the development of individuals who train at least once a year. The knock on effects are clear. Their sense of feeling empowered to help friends, family and people in the community, as well as improve the outcomes of incidents in a workplace, should someone become ill or injured. ❤️ The life cycle of qualifications in First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care is typically 3 years, but there’s a very good reason the HSE “strongly recommends” annual refreshers - and we can help! 😁 #firstaid #prehospitalcare #LifeSavingTraining #itworksintherealworld #notyouraveragefirstaidprovider #northeast #advancedfirstaid #medicalgases #industry

Pro Tip! In the outdoors, always carry a storm shelter. A 4 person shelter is best as a minimum in case one person needs to lie down/is injured. The brighter the better as it can be used a signal marker even in good weather. They’re available in super light versions so you won’t even notice it. A great investment! In rescue situations, we’ve spoken to people in a lot of pain due to a broken ankle, but the biggest complaint can easily be the cold, especially in winter if you have to wait for a while for help to arrive! #firstaid #toptip #protip #lifesavingtraining #walking #hiking #countryside #forestschool #outdoors #outdoorfirstaid #beadventuresmart #prep
