Last week, over 100 #LightfulBRIDGE participants and alumni members had the privilege of attending a bonus webinar with Birce Altay, Director of the GivingTuesday Europe Hub. Birce shared invaluable insights into the latest trends, impactful strategies, and ways to position generosity as a central pillar in this year's #GivingTuesday campaigns. From fostering collaboration to unlocking the potential of data, it was a session packed with actionable advice. Lots of nonprofit organisations who we support through the BRIDGE programme are busy planning their year-end fundraising campaigns (some for the very first time!), and we all left feeling inspired and motivated ahead of this busy campaign season. We can't wait to see everyone's campaigns go live! #Generosity #DigitalSkills #OnlineFundraising

💻 ⚡ At Lightful, we’re passionate about equipping nonprofits with the digital skills they need to build resilience and drive meaningful impact. That’s why we’re thrilled to be attending Docebo’s #Inspire2024 this week in Rome! As longtime users of Docebo's platform, we’ve seen firsthand how effective and engaging learning management systems can transform training programmes. For years, Docebo has been a vital part of delivering Lightful’s BRIDGE programme, helping nonprofits across the globe enhance their digital skills and unlock their potential. This week, we’re looking forward to learning from other organisations, sharing insights, and shining an important spotlight on the role of Learning & Development (L&D) in the nonprofit sector. We’re especially excited for our very own Head of Programmes, Róisín McGovern's session on Thursday: "Bridging the Gap: Unlocking the ROI of Digital L&D for the Nonprofit Sector." Thank you to Docebo for bringing together change makers and leaders in learning from across sectors! #DoceboInspire #LightfulBRIDGE
Very excited to be heading to Rome tomorrow for Docebo's #Inspire2024! As well as attending, I'll be leading a session on Thursday - Bridging the Gap: Unlocking the ROI of Digital L&D for the Nonprofit Sector. In an increasingly digital world, the need for nonprofits to #BuildResilience and unlock their potential through digital skills is greater than ever. During the session, I’ll spotlight Lightful's BRIDGE programme, nonprofit success stories, and the measurable ROI of investing in nonprofit learning and development - which, as we know at Lightful, can be transformative. 🔥 Looking forward to connecting with attendees, exchanging ideas, and exploring how we can all contribute to a more resilient and impactful nonprofit sector! #LightfulBRIDGE #DoceboInspire

📢 Meet Kenneth from TomorrowNow.org, a climate-tech nonprofit unlocking the power of next-generation weather solutions for those most at risk, helping millions of farmers thrive in the face of climate change. Through the #LightfulBRIDGE programme, Kenneth has been working on TomorrowNow's digital strategy, ensuring their mission to empower 100 million smallholder farmers by 2030 resonates deeply with supporters and donors through effective digital storytelling and campaigning. 🎙️ This recently took him to NPR's 'All Things Considered'—the #1 afternoon drive-time show in the US! During the show he shared how text messages are transforming smallholder farming, and arranged for an interview with farmer Stephen Nzioka in Machakos County. Kenneth's takeaway: "The BRIDGE programme has helped refine our digital strategy at TomorrowNow, ensuring we effectively rally supporters and donors around our audacious goal." 🌟 We're pleased to hear how nonprofit staff members are making the most our AI-powered Persona Creator and Compose tools on the Lightful platform! Together, these tools make it easy to create targeted marketing personas and refine social media content with AI-generated feedback. With Persona Creator, nonprofits can build personas tailored to specific audiences, while Compose provides feedback that helps posts resonate with these audiences. This combination empowers teams to save time, engage audiences, and achieve stronger results. Kwikiriza Pearl Agatha from the National Midwives Association of Uganda shared: "AI feedback with the persona tool has been a game changer for our social media content. It helps me craft posts that perfectly suit our audience's needs and interests." Read more about how these tools can elevate nonprofit social media efforts in our blog: https://lght.ly/h9o8cmg

Take a look at our latest blog post to find out more about how we're working with midwives' associations across Africa in one of our newest #LightfulBRIDGE cohorts, developed in partnership with the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This initiative focuses on strengthening the digital resilience of midwives' associations, enabling them to amplify their voices online, advocate for maternal and reproductive health, and engage effectively with their communities. Our journey began at the ICM Regional Conference in Kigali, where members of the Lightful team facilitated a workshop on digital empowerment. Participants learned how to harness storytelling and develop cohesive digital strategies to enhance their advocacy efforts. By leveraging digital tools, participants will be equipped to raise awareness, increase funding, and drive impactful change within their communities.
