As automakers look to increase fuel efficiency, their focus is on transmissions and engines. As they continue to engineer increasingly complex transmissions, Linde's atmospheric technology for heat treating can maximize precision during critical production phases. Along with our industry-leading technologies, Linde gases such as argon, carbon dioxide and helium can be used for welding support struts, dashboard parts, frames and bodies during a vehicle's trip down the assembly line. #LindeIsEverywhere

At Linde, we’re proud to keep innovating for our customers and drivers to create a cleaner, more productive world. A recent logistics distribution project in Canada is a living example of the power of international collaboration and knowledge-sharing to achieve this goal. This project centralized and standardized truck route planning for operations, resulting in enhanced efficiency and reduced truck emissions. Teams in the U.S., Canada and Mexico worked together to achieve this goal. This initiative: • Has saved the average truck driver 15-20% of road time • Has been implemented in 100 routes, with plans for 80 more by the end of 2024 • Has begun to be reproduced in other countries #EmissionsReduction #BeLindeBeLimitless #LindeIsEverywhere

We are proud to work with Vaisala on its commitment to sustainability. Vaisala recently started using Linde Green liquid nitrogen in their production and R&D projects at their headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. The switch to Linde Green has helped Vaisala cut CO2 emissions by over 490 tons annually. Linde Green liquefied gases use renewable energy in production to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 95% compared to conventional gases. As a leader in industrial gas and engineering solutions, Linde is dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to help our customers reduce their environmental impact. Our technology, assets and knowledge are essential for the clean energy transition. #LindeIsEverywhere #CustomerWins #Decarbonization

As you prepare for a season of home-cooked meals, take a look around your kitchen to see all the places Linde gases and technologies are there to help every step of the way. Today, over 75% of the world's stainless steel is made using Linde's Argon Oxygen Decarburization process — an efficient, cost-effective way to produce the stainless steel used in appliances with a minimal loss of precious elements. Linde coatings are cold-sprayed on aluminum cookware pieces to make them induction-capable. In addition, Linde gases such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide are used for creating modified atmospheres to increase the shelf life of perishable items and rapidly freezing items during food processing to preserve quality. #LindeIsEverywhere

Today's vehicles contain an ever-increasing level of computing power to bring drivers and passengers comfort while on the road. To ensure production at the highest standard, Linde nitrogen provides an inert atmosphere during wave and reflow soldering of printed wire boards. Automotive air conditioning heat exchangers are often assembled using a brazing process done in a controlled nitrogen or hydrogen atmosphere. This reduction atmosphere allows the brazed joints to achieve the highest level of leak-free strength. Our helium is also commonly used in leak detection. #LindeIsEverywhere

The steel industry is responsible for roughly 5% of global CO2 emissions. CCUS is one promising way that steel companies can decarbonize their operations. Additionally, the implementation of efficient oxygen-enhanced combustion can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, while simultaneously increasing CO2 concentration in gas streams. This heightened concentration aids in the carbon capture process, making it more cost-effective. Linde has extensive, proven expertise in the treatment of CO2, including its separation, purification, compression, liquefaction and storage processes. We provide start-to-finish services for CCUS projects to meet steel companies' requirements. #Steel #EmissionsReduction #Decarbonization #LindeIsEverywhere

Linde Advanced Material Technologies, a Linde company, recently partnered with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, to bring cutting-edge innovation to the aerospace industry with the revolutionary GRX-810 alloy metal powder. GRX-810 is designed specifically for additive manufacturing production of complex components for applications around 1,000°C. It is observed to be twice as strong as conventional additive manufacturing alloys, offering double the resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures and exhibiting over 1,000 times more durability. This groundbreaking alloy represents a new manufacturing technique which opens a completely new design space and allows components to be made cheaper and in complex shapes. Produced using a modeling-first approach, GRX-810 highlights a new strategy in computationally driven alloy development which will speed up future alloy design timelines. It also provides significant improvements in high-temperature properties compared to currently used superalloys. #Aerospace #Space #LindeIsEverywhere

Linde has been selected by NEXTCHEM to engineer and supply the technology for CO2-neutral production of natural gas and oil from ADNOC Group's Hail and Ghasha fields. Linde's electrically driven HISORP® CC solution will play an essential role in this project. It combines pressure swing adsorption and cryogenic separation and compression to achieve CO2 capture rates of over 99 percent. To achieve the aim of net-zero emission production of natural gas and oil, the project aims to capture 1.5 million tons of CO2 per year to store underground. #CleanEnergy #EmissionsReduction #LindeIsEverywhere
