The Spotlight Series aims to facilitate connections across disciplines and career-pathways in these wider areas across the Liverpool City Region. Well, what a brilliant few days for the games industry and Liverpool! Congratulations to Ali Fearnley and the whole Develop Conference team for a fantastic Develop:North. A great event on the day, with people making valuable connections, skill sharing, and learning from fantastic talks throughout the day. The keynote panel from Jo Daly, Nigel Kershaw and Alan McDermott from Wushu Studios set up the day perfectly, and it was great to see a Liverpool-based studio championing "people first" workplace practices. Also a huge thank you to Helen Cross, Danielle Carrington and the team at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority for the fantastic work in bringing Develop to Liverpool, and for your unwavering support of Merseyside's thriving games sector. It was great to see the region showcase its very best and brightest in the games industry. It was a privilege to host a fringe event in collaboration with Dominic Shaw, who facilitates and organises the brilliant #RaiseTheGame initiative from Ukie.
