This month I went to the ICB Summit where I spoke on stage and attended the LUCA awards where I was honoured to be awarded with a Companionship. I coincided my trip to London with a branding photoshoot, ready for the launch of my new website and new branding. Leadership skills are crucial in business, even if you don't have a team. You've got to lead your business in the right direction and make big decisions. Without a leadership mindset it's going to be difficult to make your business a success. I'm proud to have grown my business the way I have but I wouldn't be where I am now without other leaders inspiring me along the way. That's why I love getting to know new people and really enjoy attending networking events. Shoutout to all the leaders out there who have helped me!

When you first start out in business you probably don’t consider who your ideal client is because you think everyone who pays is ideal. However, the more you grow, the more you will realise that this simply isn’t the case. You will have a perfect client in mind, someone who you know, like and trust. A client who will depend on you because they know they can trust you and will recommend you to everyone they know. It’s important that you enjoy working with clients and don’t dread answering the phone to them every time it rings. Finding your ideal client early on in business can be a game changer. Working with clients who align with your values and services makes for smoother projects, more satisfaction, and better outcomes. But, it also means that your marketing strategy can be aligned to attract your ideal client. This way you will attract your ideal client rather than reaching out to a wider audience you’re narrowing it down to the people you really want to work with.
