Finance, shipping and government sectors joined an LR Maritime Decarbonisation Hub and Environmental Defense Fund co-hosted workshop on Sustainable Finance for Shipping’s Decarbonisation earlier this week. The in-person event brought together key stakeholders to discuss solutions and ideas for accelerating sustainable finance to drive shipping's decarbonisation. Key themes discussed included unlocking finance for energy saving technologies and retrofits; accelerating finance for shipping's decarbonisation; and, unlocking financing to support adoption of e-fuels in shipping.
