  • We are very PROUD to say we have completed screeding works for a new Sainsbury's shop in Mile end area 💪🏼💪🏼✅ After a site visit, we have surveyed that the old floor is all over the place, being 50-60mm out from one end to another. Due to site logistics, we needed to ensure we have little or no materials left after completion.. And we managed to do that within 0.5T of sharp sand left 😎😎 Talk about a good calculation 😎😎 The client requested for a quickest drying time to be achieved as well as for the screed to withold all the future foot traffic. What did we do? As ALWAYS we went to our friends PCT Chemie UK Ltd who provided us with Retanol Xtreme additive, the one we can always trust 💪🏼✅ Add some coarse aggregate to the mix - and you have the result you looking for ✅🍾 Big shout out to our guys for doing the ' deep cleaning ' after completing the works - it was like we were never there ✅ Onto the next one!!!

  • When you have been awarded the contract, what are the main points and keys to deliver your services to achieve the clients’ requirements and to fit in their time scale that has been given? There are a few things that we follow and encourage. and we would like to expand on a few of them: KNOW THE JOB IN AND OUT. This simply means, we must know each and every detail related to us. All the specifications, builds ups, logistics, time scales, works programme etc must be understood fully. There can not be any questions that have not been answered! ✅ SPEAK TO YOUR EMPLOYEES. By this, we always speak to our guys before commencing any work to ensure they fully understand what is being asked to do and how it is supposed to be carried out. We also highly encourage any feedback and suggestions from our guys as they always have good ideas which we can implement. We do not start any work until everyone on our teams knows their role fully and the best and safest way to carry out the task. ✅ CHECK FOR UPDATES. As we know, things in construction can change daily. We regularly check for any updates such as if the drawings have been updated, are we following the most up to date specifications, or is there something that we need to have a look at? Are there any changes that might require to re-price an element of works? This is highly important in regards to meeting your target, doing things right the first time and delivering the best quality product. ✅ DOCUMENT YOUR WORKS. The simplest meaning of this is to carry out your pre and post Q&A checks, having them signed by the main contractor representative as well to ensure that not only ourselves are aware of how things were done and completed but also the main contractor is fully aware of each element/sequence of works. We also highly encourage our managers and supervisors to take photographs of works to have proof of how works were carried out. Once again, by doing these little things we ensure we can deliver right and we can deliver on time. ✅ There are many other things that need to be taken into consideration to deliver your works, but we will talk about them next time. At LMA, we always thrive at delivering our product right the first time as well as achieving the best quality within the time frame agreed with the main contractor or the client. 👏🏻
