Logistics Skills Network

Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage

The only association to represent the interests of training providers in the logistics and passenger transport sector

About us

The UK logistics and passenger transport sector depends on access to a skilled workforce to keep the flow of goods and people moving into, out of and around the country. The majority of training of the labour-force is provided by small, independent training providers whose needs and interests have never been represented. Until now. We were born out of a long-overdue need for a respected voice to represent training providers within the sector. With the launch of our new network, we’re bringing together key organisations from the sector to develop and share best practices, initiatives, expertise, knowledge, experience and resources, and offer a communication platform for the coordination of collective interests. As well as carrying out regular surveys to provide more informed guidance for policy makers, we’ll be offering key strategic support to members towards the delivery of Government priorities and those of Combined Authorities with devolved powers. Logistics Skills Network will also encourage members to work together to provide vocational, and non-vocational, learning and skills training in the logistics and passenger transport sector. What’s more, members can look forward to a collective bid and tender process for contracts and funding as well as benefiting from a new buying and procurement group. Join us for this plus regular meetings and networking events, collaborative shared practices and strategic support.
