LCME in India: December 2024 🎵🇮🇳 Over the past few weeks, our Head of Exams, Ben Norbury, has been visiting centres, representatives, teachers and candidates across India, celebrating our growing community of performers. In Goa, a brilliant workshop and presentation ceremony brought our mission to life. The theory excellent choir demonstrated the transformative power of performance, whilst we celebrated excellence by presenting 29 distinction prizes awarded during Anne Bull's summer assessments. Whilst in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Representative Asha Donald organised an enlightening session where Ben connected with the city's leading music teachers to discuss LCME's exam pathways and our commitment to inclusive, forward-thinking music education. Senior Examiner Peter Reder is here to help with your questions about what's required for Musical Theatre for Actors written programme. The requirements are similar to Musical Theatre for Singers, requiring the same song information plus lyrics for non-handbook pieces. However, for the Actors syllabus there is an additional requirement - we need to see your personal notes on the rehearsal process and character development, as these notes form the basis of your Discussion with the examiner. Read more about this in the Musical Theatre for Actors syllabus: https://lnkd.in/e4WF6BFp
