  • Project 7K - #TheLostCity can be found across 10 cities in the UK today, and they are highlighting some harrowing statistics on why we need to start addressing mental health and suicide prevention in the Construction Industry.   We met with Steve, Alex and Will of Construction Sport who shared an insight into why this campaign is so important.   ‘Too many suicides go unnoticed and unrecognised, and if we’re going to change those figures and make them drop, the subject needs to be raised’ – Steve Kerslake, Founder at Construction Sport.   Construction Sport is a charity providing sporting opportunities to construction workers to support them both mentally and physically, as well as with the aim of challenging the way mental health is looked at in our sector.   At London Projects, we want to challenge the stigma, and look forward to keeping the conversation going, not only with our employees, but with Construction Sport.   For more information on The Lost City – click here: https://lnkd.in/e4QC3ZPu   #OnTheTools #ConstructionSport #BandofBuilders #TheLostCity

  • Doubling the footprint of this Holland Park property allowed the introduction of extensive entertaining space with huge ceiling heights of over 3m. The project was awarded under a Design & Build contract and the LP team worked closely with the client design team and specialist contractors to create this stunning family home.

Introducing: Clarendon Road 🌿 We are excited to share some of our latest work on this recently completed project located in the highly sought after leafy street in Holland Park. This exceptional residence is the result of meticulous work from our project team at each stage, from planning all the way through to the final specifications and finishes. Valouran’s design team worked closely with the architects to achieve the optimal planning consent for the site, with careful consideration of the space planning and ‘flow’ of the home. We were able to increase the building’s footprint from 3,412 sqft to 7,850 sqft, using our strong relationship with RBKC - more than doubling of the original area. This project included the addition of a basement level to the residence, with an incredible 3.4m ceiling height, flooded with natural light which provides wonderful extra accommodation for this home including a cinema and games room as well as a gym and further bedrooms. The space is bathed in light from intelligently placed lightwells throughout the space. Adding to this sense of light and space, on the garden level, a 3m “wall” of floor to ceiling glazing now connects the large garden with the family spaces and kitchen, creating a seamless connection with nature and the landscaped garden beyond. The stone, cantilevered staircase at the house is one of the most remarkable and stunning features of this home and creates a ribbon of magic that connects each floor. E detailing of this demonstrates Valouran’s commitment to impeccable design in every corner of their developments. The principle bedroom occupies the entire first floor of the house, providing an elegant spacious ‘suite’ of rooms which includes dressing rooms and bathrooms for both him and her featuring exceptional joinery and exceptional marbles and detailing. Clarendon Road now comprises 7 bedrooms, wonderful family spaces and living areas, a best-in-class home gym, beautiful bar area, along with staff accommodation and off-street parking. Residences of this specification and size are a rarity and we are delighted to add this project to the Valouran portfolio.

  • We were tasked with restoring this Grade I Listed property located in Regent’s Park to its former high-quality standard, working alongside the talented team at Marek Wojciechowski Architects Ltd. To do this LP undertook comprehensive structural works including adding a two-story extension to the rear of the main house which houses a study and kitchen area and also adding a powder room following the extension of the closet wing, all whilst ensuring the historic features of the house were preserved. The Mews House undertook a complete transformation to enable the addition of two bedrooms on the 1st floor of the property and the garden area was completely transformed to provide a charming garden area linking the two properties.   The end-product is a 6-bedroom family home that includes a sauna, steam room, and gym of the highest standard.
