We've just secured a Contract for Difference for Duxhurst Solar Farm. Happy to be successful in the auction, and very well done to Guy Lavarack and the team.
Delighted to announce that Luminous Energy Group Ltd was successful in securing a Contract for Difference (CfD) from the UK government in the AR06 auction results announced yesterday. This relates to 25MWp of new renewable energy capacity for our ready to build solar farm, Duxhurst Solar Farm, which we plan to build, own and operate. This is the second successive year we have been successful in the auction and we look forward to working with Low Carbon Contracts Company to bring the project to fruition. https://shorturl.at/BAjuY

We’ve agreed a long-term power purchase agreement with Statkraft which helps us maximise returns for our first operational solar farm. We’re celebrating this as another milestone for Luminous Energy, but would like to credit the Statkraft team for their skill and flexibility to make it happen.

Our first vCPPA, with Bristol Airport no less. A big thank you to everyone involved in this unique solar energy agreement.
I am thrilled to announce the signing of Luminous Energy Group Ltd's first virtual Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (vCPPA) with Bristol Airport! We will operate this vCPPA in tandem with a government AR05 CfD contract now also signed with Low Carbon Contracts Company. The combination of a CfD with a Corporate PPAs is potentially an industry first and ensures a significant proportion of our first solar farm's revenues will be contracted for up to 15 years. As ever, my grateful thanks to all advisors and partners involved in making this happen, most notably to Natasha Luther-Jones and Tom Metcalfe at DLA for the superb legal advice, as well as Phil Dominy and EY who provided commercial support to Bristol Airport. Great to work with you Andrew Griffiths and Susannah Caws. Thanks for your trust and patience whilst we worked to get the detail right.
