Business Excellence Green Belt: Lean Office in Action at Luxinar Luxinar, a leading UK laser manufacturer, is celebrating the achievements of its first group of Business Excellence Green Belt graduates, trained and coached by True North Excellences Lean specialist Jenny Davis. Twelve team members from across the business—spanning Accounting, Marketing, IT, R&D, Stores, and Purchasing—recently completed their training and coaching and proudly presented their "show and tell" improvement projects this week, demonstrating how Lean principles can create meaningful change in any area of the company. Congratulations to our new Business Excellence Green Belts: Brian Kirbitson, Chris Priestman, Joanna Houldridge, Martin Knight, Sophie Pipes, Mihai Cosmin Stoleriu, Megan Wilson, Lee Mitchinson-Drydale, Anita Vadova, Lizzie Burnett, Leon Bailey and Russell Jeynes for initiating the training and championing the culture of improvement at Luxinar. The journey began in June, with participants diving into Lean fundamentals. They learned how to identify and reduce waste in office environments, differentiate between value-added and non-value-added work, and apply practical tools like process mapping, 5Why and Fishbones.
