LYVA Labs has signed an exciting new partnership agreement with Sci-Tech Daresbury and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The new memorandum of understanding (MoU) supports collaboration between the organisations to increase innovation investment and growth opportunities in the Liverpool City Region. The agreement allows the partners to collaborate on technical projects, programmes, R&D consultancy, investor engagement, and cluster development. It will also identify skills and resource availability and highlight training opportunities for local innovators and entrepreneurs. iiCON: Infection Innovation Consortium has announced funding for 11 innovative projects for #WorldAntimicrobialResistanceAwarenessWeek and LYVA Labs will run one of them! The projects follow iiCON-run sandpit events in Liverpool and London. The funded projects will focus on combating infectious diseases and get a share of £1.5 million from UK Research and Innovation, as part of its ongoing work to support innovative ways of tackling infections. LYVA Labs' project, delivered with partners Cofactory, will create an open innovation network to support the commercialisation of microbiome products.
