At Mackle Petfoods, pets are our priority. We work closely with vets and specialist pet nutritionists to continuously develop our range of pet food products to meet the nutritional needs of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. For over 50 years we have sourced only the finest natural, local ingredients to produce top quality products. Our products are created and manufactured to strict quality guidelines with full traceability back to origin. We are Ireland’s fastest growing pet food manufacturer and our commitment and expertise are just some of the ingredients we pack into our best selling products. Mackle Petfoods consists of one production facility and one packing facility producing a wide range of wet cat and dog foods. Our production facility at our Moy site has a number of dedicated manufacturing units; canning, plastic trays and pouches. In 2012, we opened our purpose built plastic tray facility and we have plans to increase our capacity by installing an additional canning line. Our state of the art packing facility opened in 2014 from our second site at Moygashel, operating a multi-flavour packing line with shrink wrapper and robotic depalletiser. Branded and own label products are supplied to wholesale, retail, discounter and pet specialist markets in a variety of formats; single 400g cans or 400g can multipacks, 1200g cans and single serve 85g, 150g and 400g trays and multipacks. Since day one, this independent family-owned business has adhered to strict guidelines, working closely with vets and specialist pet nutritionists and sourcing only the finest natural local ingredients to produce top quality products. Recipes are tailored to suit various markets needs from a value range through to a super premium range in a variety of flavours. Our products are created and manufactured to strict quality guidelines with full traceability back to origin. Customers can rely on Mackle Petfoods to deliver quality and value across the range.

👏Feature Fridays - Gareth Rogers👏 Gareth is our Head of Engineering and has worked with Mackle Petfoods for 8 years. “I have been involved in lots of exciting engineering and automation projects in the last 8 years. I really enjoy working in a highly automated, fast-paced environment and I work with a fantastic team who are with me every step of the way.” Outside of work Gareth is a DIY enthusiast and has many projects to work on at home co-ordinated by his wife Judith. He has 3 children and 3 pets - a Miniature Schnauzer named Lizzie, May the Cat and a Giant African Land Snail called Charlie. To relax, Gareth enjoys fishing, farming and spending time with his family. He is also a keen rugby fan.

📣 Apprentice Ambassador - BIG Apprenticeship Event ⚙️ Richard Livingstone ⚙️ Mechatronic Engineering & Level 6 Top Up HLA ⚙️ Mackle Petfoods Richard is currently studying on the Level 6 Engineering Top-Up Degree HLA and is employed with Mackle Petfoods. Richard chose to do a HLA as it gave him the ability to earn while he was learning and gaining first hand experience in industry. Richard would say that the best part of being a HLA is having the opportunity to learn from those who have worked in the industry and the balance between work and study. 📚 Richard works as part of a maintenance team, maintaining production lines.
