Today I'm excited to announce a new project with Multiplex! Building on our successful partnership, Maconda is supporting the delivery of material passports on the £200M Holborn Viaduct scheme by Royal London Asset Management . It’s great to be working with the Multiplex team again after our pioneering material passport pilot on the One Nine Elms scheme – the UK’s first! Designed by PLP Architecture, Holborn Viaduct uses passports as part of the long-term adaptability and disassembly strategy of a layered design and installation approach to building components. The passport information allows easier adaptation and replacement of individual elements in response to future climate and occupational requirements. Using UPCYCLEA software, we capture detailed data on carbon, circularity, material health and residual financial value to provide the client with a comprehensive picture of the asset on completion.
