Thank you to Adrian Greenwood MCIOF and The Prince of Wales Hospice for inviting me to speak yesterday morning to their Business Club, Club 5, members. What a lovely group of people. I was so touched by the number of them who came up to me afterwards and said how they love speaking to our team each year when booking space in one of the publications that we are proud to produce for the Hospice. Having volunteered to be on the cheering squad in the past for some of our Charity Clients, I know the energy it takes to keep cheering everyone one. After the Oxford Half Marathon last year where I volunteered for Sobell House Hospice , I lost my voice for 3 days and developed RSI from cow bell clanging. I wouldn't have changed a thing though. It is always an honour to be able to cheer on all those fantastic people who are running/walking/wheeling/hobbling to the finish line. Everyone connected with these types of events deserves the accolades and so we're here for those amazing people on the roadside being the fuel for getting people to achieve their dreams. Did you know that in addition to her role within Majestic Publications, our own Jane Montague also is the Lead Tutor and programme designer of the new Fundraising Apprenticeship Programme that is being run by The Juice Academy and Apprentify? The new Cohort started today and, in her own words, she was as giddy as a kipper! If ever you've been on any training with Jane then you know how energetic and engaging she is. She's apparently now gone for a lie down!
