Absolutely The Best Way To Start The New Year! Had our first meeting of the year today, and contrary to the popular belief about #MondayBlues, the team was full of excitement and energy, so much so that what was initially intended to be a 30min long meet stretched to 2hrs, with everyone actively contributing ideas for our future plans and both long term and short term goals for Makeke.shop. We saw incredible presentations from all interns extremely skilled with #socialmediamarketing and #contentcreation. The suggestions and recommendations were too valuable to be ignored or passed up! If a business's success depends on the happiness of its employees, we are definitely on the right track! I have always believed that, how you start your New Year is a great reflection of how your entire year will go. And with the enthusiasm we witnessed today, we are off to a fantastic start! As I wrap up my internship at Makeke.shop, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible experience and personal growth over the past few months. It’s been an exciting journey working with a dynamic startup, where I created over 200 social media posts to strengthen Makeke’s brand presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I also developed tailored marketing strategies for local independent shops, helping them connect with target audiences and boost their sales. Throughout my time, I had the opportunity to attend weekly meetings that offered valuable insights into the evolving vision of the company. I participated in reorientation sessions and experienced different stages of growth with the startup, gaining a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial process and the flexibility required to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with my colleagues, we brainstormed and launched viral marketing campaigns, tapping into social media trends to engage new audiences. This hands-on experience has sharpened my skills in both B2B and B2C marketing, and I’ve learned so much about the power of social media and startup dynamics. I’m incredibly grateful to the Co-Founder and CEO - Jenniffer Gearheart - Tang - for the guidance and support she provided along the journey. I’m looking forward to applying these valuable lessons as I continue to grow in the marketing field.
