Congratulations on the induction of our latest Level 3 First Line Manager and Level 5 Operational and Departmental Manager Apprenticeship cohorts. As part of Booker and Best’s commitment to fostering growth and creating valuable learning & development opportunities for our colleagues, we were thrilled to welcome them to Makro Eccles on October 30-31 for their induction sessions. The launch events were hosted by Crosby Management Training, who we partner with to deliver the apprenticeships. We wish all our apprentice’s great success as they embark on their learning journeys!

At Booker, we proudly marked Trans Awareness Week by hosting an inspiring conversation with over 150 colleagues, focusing on how we can make everyone’s welcome a reality and embed inclusion for all into our DNA. We also had the privilege of attending a Vigil for Trans Day of Remembrance at our Tesco offices, honouring the lives lost over the past year. It's a day to celebrate positive role models, highlight the importance of mental health, and reflect on the values of respect and equality. At Booker, we believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels supported and valued. This year, we're marking International Men’s Day with a special virtual event focused on mental health and breaking the stigma. Mental health is not just a personal journey; it’s a collective responsibility. Let’s come together to break down barriers and create a space where vulnerability is embraced, not judged.

On Remembrance Day, we honour the brave individuals who stood for peace and freedom.
