The Scyrus social capital model is built on principles of inclusion and equality. It aims to incentivise and reward "positive" or "good" contributions to society, whether contributions in kind or in money - from volunteer work to charitable donations and investments. In this way even the poorest people and communities can contribute and be rewarded with social capital. This applies to ESG-compliant fundraising and investments for the housing association sector, where both investors and beneficiaries can generate and earn social capital, with other benefits such as enhanced reputation, stronger ESG credentials, and ability to unlock access to goods and services using social capital as a barter mechanism or as a payment medium using tokenisation. With this in mind, Scyrus and University of Stirling need your help to better understand the impact measures that are important to you and your organisation.
