On a recent overseas trip we had the pleasure of meeting the manager of The Mattress Store in Dubai Marina Mall - an occupational hazard of working in this industry is you can't resist checking out the local stores. 😊 As we come to the end of 2024, everyone at MattressOnline is thankful for all our connections - locally, nationally, and internationally - all of these important partnerships help us do what we love, and we look forward to continuing those relationships as we head into the new year. 🥰 Early 2025 will see some exciting developments at MO as we forge even more ties.... 🛏️😉 Happy New Year to all! 🥳

Thank you to The Children's Hospital Charity for inviting us along to watch the 2024 Snowflake Switch-on in Sheffield yesterday evening - it was exciting to see the MattressOnline snowflake lit up alongside so many others, all sponsored by families and businesses, raising an incredible £434,200 for the charity.

📣 BREAKING NEWS 📣 Pictured: Mattress Online reveals South Yorkshire's Worst Sleeper.... This night owl is so desperate for a good night's sleep he's visited our store three times now in the early hours...each time frustratingly finding our doors locked and all the alarms on...very awkward 😬 His sleep need seems to be pillows, but he's not found the right one yet - which is why we think he keeps returning...does he prefer firm, or soft? We simply don't know 🤔 If only he'd come back during opening hours so we can help him find what he really needs, instead of running away with samples that he drops in the car park in his sudden hurry to leave! 🏃➡️ Do you know a worse sleeper? Thank you to the team at Doncaster Chamber for an insightful MP Question Time event last week - giving us the opportunity to hear directly from the members of parliament responsible for the City about their priorities going forward, and hearing their responses to the important questions raised by other attendees. Questions raised ranged from AI and Digital Skills gaps, to the re-opening of DSA Airport and potential expansions for the local public transport infrastructure. Sustainable energy additions when improving the stock of social housing and how we can help to champion the City centre were also key topics discussed.

September has been a busy one.... We've been up to a lot - Go Karting with Rowan Campbell-Pilling in aid of The Children's Hospital Charity....a factory visit with the team at Silentnight Group....two days of inspiration at Ideas Fest....a visit from our friends at Sealy....a cracking 2024 National Bed Federation Bed Show...and last but not least - another epic FEBE Growth 100 celebration at Abbey Road Studios. Thank you to everyone who made it a month to remember 😀

This week we're excited to be attending the National Bed Federation 2024 Bed Show in Telford - catching up with suppliers, manufacturers and peers in the bed & mattress industry - and seeing the showcase of fantastic products on display. As well as our CEO, Steve Adams undertaking judging duties again this year for the category of Bed Product of the Year, we are also delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists for Online Bed Retailer of the Year at the NBF Bed Industry Awards - along with Land of Beds, MattressNextDay and Simba Sleep - who we look forward to seeing on the night!

Picture the scene... It's getting late, you've relaxed watching an episode of your latest Netflix* obsession, and you're feeling ready for a good nights sleep...
