Hosted by the Maudsley Learning simulation team, we are thrilled to bring back this conference following its highly successful inaugural year. This event will bring together experts, professionals, and enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond to showcase the evolving landscape of mental health simulation. Managing ADHD in Adults in Primary Care More adults are presenting to GPs with potential ADHD, and waiting lists for NHS ADHD assessments can extend to several years. This seminar explored the benefits of identifying and treating ADHD in adults. Clinical case studies illustrate the diverse ways ADHD can present, including the reasons why girls and women are often underdiagnosed. The webinar also featured a discussion on the various types of medication, how to manage the current UK shortages, and the necessary monitoring when patients are on ADHD medication. Additionally, it addresses the types of support that could be beneficial to patients while they await assessment.
