In this webinar, Bridging the Gap: Treating Eating Disorders in Autistic Individuals – Lived Experience, Family & Professional Perspectives, we focus on the recovery experience of an autistic person with an eating disorder. We examined the impact on the individual, their family, and professionals when no accommodations have been made for the autistic person, as well as when such accommodations have been provided. We discussed how making these adjustments and offering additional support can significantly improve outcomes. Best practices and creative solutions for individuals, families, and professionals are also shared. Watch the ML webinar here: https://lnkd.in/gWWw6J7u
