We are seeking a talented part-time Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the embedded systems space. This position is exclusively for students currently enrolled in graduate or master's programs, or recent graduates in relevant fields. Type: Part-Time (10-25 hours/week), One-Year Contract (with the possibility to transition to full-time) (three-month probation period) Job Description: The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for embedded systems. The role requires proficiency in C programming and experience working with various microcontrollers and platforms, including ARM, Atmel, PIC, ESP32, and STMs. Key Responsibilities:              •           Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C.              •           Design and implement software solutions for ARM, Atmel, PIC, ESP32, and STM microcontrollers.              •           Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components.              •           Conduct testing and debugging of electronics to ensure functionality and performance.              •           Provide technical support and documentation for software solutions.              •           Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Qualifications:              •           Experience with microcontroller platforms like ARM, Atmel, PIC, ESP32, and STM.              •           Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit design.              •           Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.              •           Experience with software debugging and testing methodologies.              •           Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.              •           Excellent communication and teamwork skills. It’s been a long, resource-intensive journey, but we’re thrilled to announce that our lab is now fully equipped for PCB manufacturing and assembly. Say goodbye to product disclosures and low-quality assemblies—everything is now crafted in-house! With state-of-the-art 3D printers and an Injection Molding Machine, we produce everything right here using top-quality materials, all while being mindful of our environmental impact. But here’s the best part: our success isn't just for us—it’s for the community too! We’re eager to support startups in Northamptonshire in bringing their innovative products to life.
