Every week matters when patients are waiting for care. ⏰ At MDCG, we’re proud to have achieved up to a 48% reduction in waiting times across the NHS trusts we support. This is a huge testament to the collaboration of our teams, working hand-in-hand with NHS staff to see patients sooner.

NHS staff are close to the edge. The latest survey results from the GMB union reveal the immense pressures they face. Nearly two-thirds are considering leaving their roles. This is a stark reminder of the urgent need to support the incredible people at the heart of our healthcare system. This weekend marked the start of our new partnership with Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, supporting three acute hospitals across the region. We have tailored our approach to the specific needs of the Trust to complement and enhance their existing services, to improve efficiency and reduce patient wait times. Here are our brilliant MDCG team at Broomfield Hospital, ready to ensure patients receive the timely, high-quality care they deserve. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to work closely with the Mid Essex to reduce wait times, streamline patient pathways, and deliver outstanding outcomes. There is a crisis in women's healthcare. Gynaecology waitlists have doubled since February 2020, leaving over 630,000 women waiting for vital care. This staggering figure reflects a systemic issue, one that demands action to ensure women no longer face delays that exacerbate their conditions or compromise their quality of life. We're committed to being part of the solution. By partnering with NHS trusts to expand their capacity, we help restore confidence in the clinical pathways and ensure no woman feels abandoned by long waits. The 2024 Autumn Budget delivers a welcome uplift in health and social care funding, including a 4.7% increase for NHS England this year. There are currently 597,000 people waiting for gynaecology appointments with the NHS. That's triple the amount in 2014. This crisis is disproportionately affecting black patients and people in deprived areas. At MDCG, we are working hand-in-hand with the NHS to alleviate these backlogs by strategically placing expert clinicians in areas where they're needed most.
