November's been big month for our #TeamLondon. After 16 years in Clerkenwell we have moved to #ElephantandCastle within #LSBU's #Technopark building. End of era and the beginning of another! Thanks to Michelle, Will Jones, Paul Chester, mark eddison, and all who helped with the move - "Many hands make light work"!

As we end our week of introducing #carbonliteracy, showing what the industry is doing, what #MEBDesign is doing, and showcased our key exemplar projects, we open out to you; how can you commit to #reducecarbon? How can we #collaborate? #carbonfootprint #reduceemissions #cop29

As we look to drive towards #netzerocarbon, here are some of our projects where we've achieved great sustainability credentials such as Passivhaus and Enerphit certifications, EPC A/A4/A+, BREEAM Excellent, used CLT timber construction, renewable energy sources, and/or incorporated nature into the design. #carbonliteracyweek #carbonfootprint #reduceemissions #cop29

Today is Carbon Literacy Day, and we at MEB Design are meeting at our recently completed pavilion for Salfords Cricket Club in Surrey, to map our continuing response to the climate emergency. The pavilion building has an EPC of A4, ASHP heating, and solar PV. We were delighted to hear from chairman Sanjay about how well the project went, and how pleased everyone is to have this terrific new facility #carbonliteracyweek #carbonfootprint #reduceemissions #cop29 #netzerocarbon

During Carbon Literacy Week, we at MEB Design restate our commitment to act on behalf of the climate. In May this year we launched our action plan: https://lnkd.in/dd9BAZMv. Tomorrow we will meet to assess our progress, and plan our next steps #carbonliteracyweek #carbonfootprint #reduceemissions #cop29 #netzerocarbon

Carbon Literacy Week coincides with COP29 in Azerbaijan. With the built environment contributing 37% of global carbon emissions, architects have a vital role in the drive to reach net zero. You can read about how the RIBA are representing the profession at the conference here: https://lnkd.in/e-8dkCZd #carbonliteracyweek #carbonfootprint #reduceemissions

Hello Friends, it is Carbon Literacy Week! So over the next few days MEB Design will be focusing on what it is, what we do and what you can do. Breaking it down, we begin by asking what is ‘Carbon Literacy’? “Carbon Literacy is “an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community, and organisational basis”. Glad *everyone* came! And the autumn colours looked good in spite of the gloomy weather. Hope to see everyone out there next year somewhere.
Happy World Town Planning Day! This morning I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into a netwalk with a fantastic bunch of new people. Despite how it may appear I still find it nerve wracking going to networking events on my own! A circular trail through Ightham Mote (and stop for a breakfast coffee and cake). We were all brought together by the pro networker JANET SHIELDS Group photo courtesy of Stephen Moore
