Hi all 👋 The team have recently been considering our records sorting charges (mainly because our clients have said we should increase it... since when does that happen!?!). The 'usual' is an hourly rate, but we've been using a per page rate as it's less likely to be challenged at costs further down the line. Can we canvas opinions on what the preference is for you all? Excited to announce that we now have a wonderful Administrative Coordinator who was an MCA. So, she is not only super-efficient and organised, she also knows all about maternity and is used to keeping us midwives in line! We also have two wonderful senior and experienced midwives joining the company🎉 It means we are finally caught up with the huge backlog of instructions and we're ready for new cases from you lovely lot! We’ve been quiet because we’ve been busy*! But we’re still very much here and are excited to offer a new service on your maternity cases to help with preparing those letters of claim in advance of the impending introduction of FRC. *Charlene Francois* and the team are pleased to launch our fixed fee (£595) Screening Reviews. Completed within 6-8 weeks and including suggested allegations for your LOC; you can submit before the April deadline and then confidently progress your cases (arrange conferences, instruct other expert disciplines etc.) while a full CPR compliant report is prepared. *We’ve also all had the month-long lurgy that’s been doing the rounds, but you don’t need to know that because we’re supposed to be invincible and we keep working anyway 😉
