Meeting Needs is a registered charity founded by leading figures in the UK conference and events Industry. The objective of Meeting Needs is to raise funds for worthy causes relevant to the events industry which may not have the resources to raise sufficient funds without additional contributions. Many needy causes do not have access to public funding and Meeting Needs can provide financial support to these types of organisations through various fund-raising initiatives and activities. We are proud of the way that over the years we have united the Meetings, Incentive, Conference and Events industry, whether they are competitors or suppliers, behind a common cause. What a day – what a result! On Monday over 300 event professionals gathered at the InterContinental London Park Lane to celebrate at the annual SITE Christmas lunch. A festive day with a massive £24,310 raised for Meeting Needs. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought raffle tickets you will help change lives. Yesterday, we were honored to support DRPG, our long-standing Charity Partner, with the big build charity challenge 🦾 Building prosthetic hands for those in need, live across multiple sites. Fabulous initiative!! It gives us great pleasure to make a donation to LN4 Hand Project, the charity that facilitate the purchasing and delivery of the limbs. Thank you for putting this together Dale Parmenter, the team at DRPG and Lightbulb Teams.
What an unforgettable day at the Big Build Charity Challenge 💪 A huge thank you to our incredible clients including Nationwide Building Society, Theo Paphitis Retail Group, Attivo, Excel London and Worcestershire County Cricket Club | Visit Worcestershire New Road, Worcester, partners like MEETING NEEDS, and DRP Germany GmbH, OWB Creative Communications, The Special Event Company, and our Manchester and London offices for joining us and working together to smash our target of 45 with a whopping 62 prosthetic hands built that will change lives.
