🎉 Menospace is Two 🎉 Two years ago, I had no idea how to set up or run a business. I just knew that menopause support in the workplace was desperately needed and I wanted to be part of it. It hasn’t been easy. There were times I struggled to pay the rent, times when the stress felt unbearable and days when I seriously considered walking away to return to a stable salary. But every time I pushed through, went just a little further, something shifted. Opportunities appeared, work came in and I was reminded why I started in the first place. I also knew, deep down, that I was onto something truly important. That what I offer is needed. Two years in, Menospace is growing, evolving and making an impact. I’ve had the privilege of working with organisations across the UK and globally, including: University of Oxford United Nations Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd Colt Technology Services Ferrovial NHS Gateshead Council Wikimedia Foundation I’ve created partnerships with: The Diversity Trust HanLawCo TriggerHub As well as working with some amazing women who share the same mission as me: to improve the lives of women at work. If you're building something that matters, keep going. The breakthrough often comes just after you think about quitting. I can't wait to see what the next two years' bring!! 🥳

  • Women’s health shouldn’t be considered ‘niche’. We make up 51% of the population. In her latest article for WeAreTheCity, our founder Haley White explores why women's health needs to be a boardroom priority and what companies can do to create a truly supportive culture. What are you doing to support your female staff?

  • Menopausal women are the biggest demographic in the workforce, however 13% leaving work due to a lack of support. • We loved delivering a bespoke Menopause Champion training session for some of the staff at BPI (British Phonographic Industry) Together, we explored the impact of menopause in the workplace and collaborated on shaping a menopause policy. It was fantastic to have a lot of engagement, not just from women, but from men as well! Their willingness to learn, ask questions and be part of the conversation was inspiring. Menopause affects everyone, directly or indirectly and creating an inclusive, supportive culture makes all the difference. Thanks so much to everyone who took part, your openness and commitment to change are exactly what’s needed to break the stigma. #menopause #training #DEI #wellbeing
