Winning seven consecutive double Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships from 2014 to 2020 and securing a record-breaking eighth consecutive Constructors’ Championship success in 2021, the Team is one of the most successful in the sport’s history.

What a sensational result in Sin City! George Russell won the Las Vegas Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton in second to secure a stunning one-two finish and the team’s first victory under the dazzling night lights of Las Vegas. Both drivers were in a league of their own all weekend. Lewis topped the timesheets in first and second practice, and George was fastest in the third session. George took this speed advantage into qualifying to take a fantastic pole position, his third of the season. In the race, he held off an early challenge from the Ferraris to take a dominant victory after 50 laps. Lewis’ drive was equally impressive. Starting from P10 on the grid, the seven-time F1 World Champion showed electrifying pace and made up eight positions to finish P2. Thank you to everyone in the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team for doing such a fantastic job. I would also like to congratulate Max Verstappen for claiming his fourth consecutive championship title. Well done. We now head straight to the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar for the penultimate race weekend of the 2024 season, starting on 29 November.
