🌳 #NationalTreeWeek: Romford Road planting In support of Stratford Fire Station becoming a greener and more welcoming place, we completed almost 40m2 of planting, including 3 large acer campestre Streetwise, and over 250 hardy, bright and perennial plants such as Achillea, Blue Oat Grass and Cistus. With a helping hand from local firefighters, the new and improved spaces have been delivered to encourage biodiversity, create new pockets of habitat for wildlife, and to add some colour and vibrancy to a bustling, urban location. 🌳 #NationalTreeWeek: Lambeth Kerbside Strategy Rain Gardens We've planted almost 40 trees, including Ginkgos, Amelanchier, Birch and Hornbeam, across rain gardens in London Borough of Lambeth to enhance local climate resilience and beauty. The trees not only improve aesthetic appeal and air quality, but also help to shade and cool the streets, offering a natural solution to the increasing urban heat. #NationalTreeWeek #RainGardens #Lambeth #UrbanGreening #SuDS #SustainableDesign #TreePlanting

Improving air quality in Havering🌿🌤️ 24 timber planters filled with lush Ivy screens are helping to add natural beauty to the environment while supporting biodiversity and local wildlife. Installed in early 2023, the green screens act as a natural filter, trapping dust and absorbing pollutants, which is a significant advantage in pollution-prone urban areas. 📍 Rainham, London Borough of Havering #greenscreens #livinggreenscreens #livingscreen #biodiveristy #airquality #urbangreening #greeninfrastructure #greenwall

Seasonal changes for Barnet's interactive rain gardens ☀️🍁🌸 With a change of colour and texture as we get into the colder months, these vibrant green spaces continue to adapt and thrive, bringing year-round interest, boosting biodiversity and brightening up the area.
