About us

Micronomy is an organisation driven by a passion for innovation, change and transformation. We not only offer support for others to flourish, but at our core we are innovators; putting a lens over identified problems and developing micro solutions to address them. Micronomy delivers cost effective, pragmatic and practical business support, helping organisations and people commercialise innovation, move into new markets and increase revenue and productivity. Our cross-sector experts work with businesses and individuals providing varied support, such as income generation, talent development, digital innovation, marketing and more. Micronomy's ethos is that micro interactions can and do make big things happen. We work with companies that are starting out, are stuck or are looking to create spin outs. We build meaningful partnerships not simple transactions that can help us all make tomorrow better than today.

Happy New Year! Here we are, hurtling into 2025, ready to embrace new opportunities, say ‘yes’ to the things that matter, and ‘no’ to the things that don’t. I wanted to share something I’m super proud of. In 2024, Micronomy was asked by Plymouth Culture to create resources and workshops on Income Generation—something I’ve spent a lot of time navigating myself. At Micronomy, Dawn Melville and I focus on using micro interactions to drive change and make big things happen , so delivering a free workshop on a subject so close to my heart feels like the perfect way to start the year. On Monday 20th January, we’ll be hosting the first of two workshops at the Barbican Theatre: this one is An Introduction to Income Generation. I know how frustrating and lonely it can feel when you love what you do, see the difference it makes, but are stuck chasing funding to keep it going. Premature full stops are put in place because of funding, not because of purpose, impact or passion. That’s why this session is designed to create a space to pause, reflect, and explore fresh ways to unlock investment and generate income … together. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to connect with others who share similar challenges, this workshop is for you. It’s about honest conversations, a safe place to show-up, practical tools, and sparking ideas for how things could look in 2025. Spaces are limited, so take a look at the link below for more details. If this feels like a ‘yes’ for you, we’d love to see you there. Let’s make this the year we stop chasing and start creating! And if you feel someone in your network might benefit, please do share. Sometimes, the impact we make comes from the simplest of actions—a click of a button, a moment’s thought, or passing something on. Like scattering seeds, these small gestures can bloom into bright summers for us all. :) Here’s to an inspiring and impactful, happy and healthy 2025.
