A couple of recent visits to an EcoCocon project (not ours!) in Rovinj… The EcoCocon straw construction system provides sustainable and healthy living combined with exceptional energy efficiency. Using pre-fabricated straw filled walls, this single storey residential property is complete with glulam ridge beam and solid timber rafters & internal posts… and a very friendly contractor! On our second visit, a month later, the EcoCocon building is watertight with timber stud partitions, services, and clay lining. Looking forward to getting our Ambar Retreat project with LSD Architects to this stage soon!
